\n HURRICANE APPEAL<\/h2>\n

THE CAUSE<\/h2>\n

At the end of October, Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm, tore through Jamaica, Cuba, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic with winds reaching 300 km\/h. Entire towns have been flattened. Seventy-five lives have already been lost<\/strong>, many more are missing, and over 1.5 million people are struggling to survive<\/strong>. Families are still searching for loved ones, and churches, once places of refuge and hope, now lie in ruins.<\/p>\n

Roads are blocked, hospitals are overwhelmed, and 77% of Jamaica is without electricity<\/strong>. In the Dominican Republic, entire communities are cut off, with some only reachable by drones delivering food parcels. <\/p>\n

Our Bible Society teams are there, praying with families, comforting the grieving, and bringing hope through God\u2019s Word. But they cannot do it alone; they need our collective prayers and support now.<\/p>\n
