Putting God\u2019s Word into the Hands of Children in Ghana<\/h2>\n

In Ghana, even though more than 70 per cent of the population identify as Christian, many children are growing up without access to the Bible. The Bible Society of Ghana is helping to change this by placing Bibles into the hands of primary school children aged six to fourteen\u2014and it is already making a visible difference.<\/p>\n

Adom\u2019s story shows this impact. His eyes lit up when he spotted Bibles on his teacher’s desk. When he learned that each child would get a Bible, he was overjoyed. \u201cI will take good care of the Bible I received today,\u201d he said proudly. \u201cIt is very precious to me, and the stories inside it are also precious. I have heard many stories in church, and I was told that all these stories come from the Bible.\u201d With his first Bible, Adom felt proud and grateful. He knew he could learn more about God and share His Word with others.<\/p>\n
