THE IMPACT
Your gift today will help: Cambodia: Support the Living Word for All project, providing 4,500 free Bibles, New Testaments, and Scripture portions to low-income families and believers.
Ukraine: Help distribute more than 20,000 copies of Scripture, including Military Bibles, pocket New Testaments, and Children’s Bibles for soldiers, veterans, former captives, and their families.
Kazakhstan: Help provide 4,000 Bibles, Scripture portions, and Children’s Bible Storybooks in Kazakh and Russian to families in rural and underserved communities.
Azerbaijan: Support the Bibles for Azerbaijan project, distributing 3,500 Bibles and Scripture portions in local languages.
From Grief to Hope in Ukraine
When Tetiana Tkachuk’s husband was killed while defending Ukraine in 2022, her world fell apart.
“I didn’t know how to keep living,” she recalls. “I constantly dreamed of dying just to be with him again.”
Overwhelmed by grief, Tetiana withdrew from those around her. Everything changed when she joined a support group, where she was given a Bible by the Ukrainian Bible Society.
Although she had never believed in God before, reading His Word transformed her life.
“I surrendered to God and invited Jesus Christ into my heart. Immediately, I felt a heavy burden lift. I could sleep again. I found peace. I realised God had never left me.”
Today, Tetiana is a baptised Christian who leads support groups for widows and has completed chaplaincy training. Having experienced God’s comfort herself, she now walks alongside others facing unimaginable loss.
“Life is so much easier with God. Without Him, it is impossible.”
Tetiana’s story is a powerful reminder that God’s Word brings hope where despair seems overwhelming.
