THE CAUSE
As we gather with loved ones and exchange gifts this Christmas, many Kiwis are longing for something far more meaningful, the chance to hold a Bible of their very own.
It might be a child or young person in New Zealand Boys’ or Girls’ Brigade, a Defence Force member in the Navy, Army or Airforce searching for hope, or someone waiting to encounter God’s Word in the Māori language.
Here at Bible Society we are currently working with these agencies to help make this dream possible in 2026.

THE IMPACT
How your gift will help bring the Word of God to Kiwis:
📖 $20 will provide a Bible for a child or young person in the Boy’s or Girls Brigade
📖 $50 will support audio Scripture resources for te reo Māori
📖 $100 can help equip an Army, Airforce or Navy personnel with the Word of God
📖 $260 will provide 13 children or young people with a full Brigade Bible of their own

As we come to the end of 2025, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your prayers, generosity, and support for Bible Society New Zealand. Your faithfulness this year has made an eternal difference.
Because of you, we’ve been able to champion 49 projects across 25 countries—supporting Bible translation, trauma-healing initiatives, and Bible literacy programmes. Your partnership has helped thousands of children hear the Easter and Christmas stories here in New Zealand, made possible the launch of the first complete Tokelauan Bible, and enabled the continued release of the Māori Audio Bible.
These are just a few examples of the impact your support has made possible.
Throughout history, the spread of the Gospel has been carried by faithful Gospel patrons—people like Humphrey Monmouth, who supported William Tyndale, Lady Selina Hastings, who stood behind George Whitefield, and John Thornton, who encouraged John Newton and William Wilberforce. Without them, the Gospel would not have advanced as it did.
